Two months ago I inquired about Kabir Chicks on this website, now I have almost 400 heads of healthy and robust kabirs in my farms here in Davao City, Phils. ; (10 layers) ,( 2 rosters),( 90 .7kg-1.0kgs),(70 .300 kg, 190 .250kg), (60 eggs waiting to hatch).
We are also starting to formulate our own maintenance feeds . And all of these in 2 months ?
Imagine what we can be in 1 year! All thanks and all
glory be to God our Father. God bless you Agripinoy

Hello, I'm planning to enter into native chicken business, can I have some info where I can attend seminars given by the Department of Agriculture or some government agencies. What type of native chicken is best? And also if anybody here can tell me if a 300 square meter area is good for raising native chicken and if so how many chickens would that accommodate? Thanks.

Hi, I just started raising sasso chickens and I am looking for other kinds of chicken that could be raised here in our place (La Trinidad, Benguet). I will be starting my own chicken farm and I found this web site. I would like to try to raise Kabir Chickens here so if you can provide me with the details of how to order them. If you have a branch somewhere near baguio city that will be better. Do you supply 21 days old chicks? The reason why I would like to get the 21 days old is that our place is cold and brooding is hard. I was successful in brooding 1 day olds but I would rather get the 21 days so I can have more production as I am eyeing mass production for my customers on a lesser time...

Please let me know, I am very much interested in raising chickens... I am looking for chickens that are very much adaptable here in our place.

I would like to order 150 day-old female chicks with a corresponding number of males. What would be the price CIF dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania?

@rogelio loria jr: the nearest pacifica agrivet from your place is:
PASI-GUIMBA-POBLACION
Poblacion, Guimba, Nueva Ecija
Tel. No. (044) 943-0550

The number of times Kabir is fed is by preference. Some people feed twice a day, some 3x a day. It would also depend on the purpose of your Kabir whether they would be free-range or confined.

@ken james tacandong: I think female Kabir can be bred around 7-9 months from hatch. You may ask your chick supplier to be certain. My Kabir laid its first batch of eggs at around 8 months old and sat on the eggs until they hatched.

Hi, I started my own small flock of Kabir chickens last year and got the chicks at Pacifica Agrivet here in Cebu City at around P34-36 per head and bought 25 chicks. You may also try to inquire at other agrivet stores for price comparison.

Pacifica branches nearest you can be found at:
http://www.pacificaagrivet.com/branches.html

Hope that helps.

Could you give me names of suppliers of Kabir chicks or pullets to start a smallscale open range chicken farm. Thank you for your assistance.
