I kept the pair in a wire cage. On the advise of the breeder, I placed a box with some dried cogon leaves inside cage. After a few weeks the hen layed two eggs and on March 1 (less than 3 weeks after they were layed), they hatched. Then on March 26 the mother bird layed another pair. This whole thing is so exiting for a new pigeon raiser like me. However, i would prefer to see the parents flying around and not be kept inside their cage. My question is: If I let the mother bird and/or father bird out of their cage, will it/they come back, knowing that they have a pair of eggs to hatch? I would appreciate it so much if you could give me your advise on this matter. Thank you.

dear sir, last january i bought a pair of pigeons from a breeder 20kms from our place. I kept the pair in a wire cage.
