we have a fish form 60 acre, we are culturing all types of carps including the two different types of common carp- with major % of Indian carps.

due to the quick growth of common carp we are planning to put in common carp as the major fish including Indian and Chinese carps or use one of our ponds 10-12 acres only for mono culture of common carp.

What is the maximum quantity of fish / acre which is permissible, will 500 / acre stay within the limits? we can fertilize the pond with both organic and un organic fertilizers.

there is fair demand of this fish in the market, not as good as for the Indian carps and other Chinese carps like grass carp.

Would appreciate some suggestions.
